BIO
Nanci was trained at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Communications where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing Management. Over her career, she has lent her voice and skills to broadcasting as a reporter, on-air anchor, and morning drive-time radio host. She has also worked as a voice-over artist for a wide array of commercials.
Her other passion began when she became an AAFA Certified Aerobics’ and Yoga instructor. Using her voice to bring serenity and healing to hundreds of students from kids to seniors. Inspired by the responses to her teachings, she wrote and recorded her own guided imagery CDs for meditation.
Nanci is also a published writer and author. She has written articles for Challenge Magazine, dedicated to coverage and needs of people with physical or mental disabilities, The Genesee Valley Parent, offering tips and activities for healthy families, and has self-published a children’s book to raise money for needy children in Haiti.
When Nanci isn’t writing or winning people over with her smooth, friendly voice or pitching pieces with a service flare, she can be found hanging out with her two dogs in Virginia Beach where she has lived with her family for the past 20 years.
